In line with the school’s motto of ‘…I Can’, Cradle to Crayon School provides children with the opportunity to acquire life skills through regular school clubs. The school clubs are designed to encourage children to socialise with their peers, partake in team activities, take turns, develop more independence and extend their learning. Clubs include: Mad Science, Ballet, ICT, Taekwondo, Art, French, Aerobics, Dance, Music, Drama and Etiquette.

Club information

  • Mad Science: is a scientific club that gives the children the opportunity to explore and investigate the world, with the support of well- informed teachers
  • Ballet: an artistic dance form performed to music, using precise and highly formalised set steps and gestures
  • ICT club: IT is part of all areas of life. IT club activities include programming, research and problem- solving.
  • Taekwondo:is a Korean form of martial arts characterised by punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. Great for keeping fit and basic self-defense.
  • Arts: the children’s imagination and creative skills are stimulated through artistic images, colour, cutting, pasting and overall appreciation for beauty both man- made and natural.
  • French positively on our immediate community through effective links
  • Aerobics: body movements & gentle exercises encouraging flexibility.
  • Dance: traditional, contemporary and other styles promote the children’s opportunities to develop their creative and performance talents. They also keep fit.
  • Music: different musical instruments can be learnt in this club such as the violin, the saxophone and the keyboard. We encourage the ownership of personal musical instruments
  • Drama: is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theater. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, and costumes/makeup design
  • Etiquette:Elocution & Etiquette will help improve a child’s communication skills and inculcate good manners. Ultimately, a child’s confidence and presentation skills will improve.
