Sports activities whether team-based or individual, are great for children as they provide not just physical activity and exercise, but also help build children’s self-esteem, confidence, social skills and motivate them to excel in life. In recognition of the importance of sports in a child’s life, Cradle to Crayon School celebrated its Annual Fun Day this year on Friday 14th February 2020.

During the fun-filled day, the children participated in various races, drills and exercises. The day started with the team parades with children dressed in their house colours. The children also participated in engaging and innovative races including: Fill the Water Bottle, Bean Bag throw, Teddy Bear Race, Spelling Race, Hoop Race, Sack Race, and many more which got the crowd cheering and clapping in their support of their teams.

At the end of the event, parents were invited to participate in a special blindfold race. It was heart-warming to see the little ones cheering on their parents as they tried to find the correct ball.

It was wonderful to see such a high parent turnout for the event. Many of our parents were able to support the fund raising raffle very generously with cash and prize donations, and with impressive volumes of ticket sales amongst families and friends. Thank you parents for being so generous – we are a partnership and our parents continue to delight us with their community mindedness.
